Fishing the Weber River

By May 30, 2015 Blog No Comments

I have been putting in 100+ days on the Weber River the last 5 years and I often get asked why I fish the Weber River as much as I do.  I have fished the “big rivers” of the Western states including the Madison River, the Snake River and the Southfork of the Snake River and enjoy doing so; but the Weber River is comfortable, productive and feels like home.  We are surrounded by many great rivers and streams but the Weber River always seems to be reliable with much less pressure than some of our other rivers in the state.  The Weber holds quality fish and people are often surprised at the size of some of the trophy trout that are caught in the river.
