Rigging up at various places on the Weber River the random walkers and joggers that want to chat always ask, “Are there even any fish here?” I always answer casually, “Oh yeah there are fish here!” I have coworkers and friends always asking about pictures of fish caught on the Weber River and ask where they are at. They are all over the river! The big fish seem to sit in predictable areas and I have caught the same 20+ inch fish multiple times out of the same runs. It may take switching methods completely but a streamer switch late in the evening from a nymph rig can target the big fish.
